Air New Zealand Mobile Landing Pages

When nzherald launched their new mobile site in March 09, with the capability to run on all mobile internet capable handsets, Air NZ jumped at the chance to be involved. Having been regular mobile advertisers for some time, Air NZ immediately understood how they could use m.nzherald.co.nz to engage a quality audience with a wide range of their products and services, including mobile check-in, holiday fares, reader competitions, and custom built mobile landing pages.

Vodafone Interstitial (Preview in Internet Explorer only)

When launching their new mobile internet campaign, Vodafone were looking for high visual impact. In response to the brief nzherald proposed a rich media solution that would be a New Zealand first. The agency loved the idea and immediately saw the potential to deliver a relevant and creative execution.

Holden Sidebar

This idea was driven by the creative agency and nzherald worked closely with them to deliver the concept. The key objective for the campaign was to demonstrate the benefits of a small car and the execution used the space in a smart way to communicate this. The campaign was effective and also showed that an idea doesn’t need to be overly complex to have a big impact.

The key objective for this campaign was to promote the new Jeep Wrangler in an eye-catching way on a small budget. The result was a highly targeted campaign within nzherald’s motoring section using rich media to create maximum impact.

Air New Zealand Expanding Rectangle

Air New Zealand’s ‘Expand Your Horizons’ campaign had a lot of different packages to promote meaning a lot of information to convey. The use of an expanding rectangle [from 300x250 to 500x500] delivered a big space to work with and the ‘pop-up-book’ style of creative enhanced this even further. The creative was user initiated which meant that it wasn’t intrusive to the reader experience.

Expanding rec’s can measure both interaction and click rates across the entire execution.

Holden Colorado Expanding Banner

It was important that the strength and toughness of the new Colarado was demonstrated, so the agency came up with the concept of breaking the site up. The use of a transparent background meant that the creative appeared to be integrated within the site.

Audi Full Page Slide

As the absolute top end of Audi’s range the launch of the Audi RS6 into the New Zealand market was all about creating desire and aspiration. nzherald and Total Media developed this bespoke solution with Eyeblaster that gave Audi prominent exposure alongside nzherald’s premium editorial content.

There is also the opportunity to run flash and video within this advertising position and works well for a big-bang message.
